Eswatini awaits Russian fertilizers delivery

The deputy speaker of the Eswatini (former Swaziland) parliament, Madala Mlanga, said that in the near future they expect to receive fertilizers from Russia, blocked due to sanctions in the ports of Europe.

During the Russia-Africa parliamentary conference, Mlanga said that the Kingdom would like to receive support from Russia in the supply of fertilizers and in the development of green energy. He also expressed the hope that it will be soon possible to obtain the necessary fertilizers.

Earlier, the Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that Russia expects that part of its fertilizers blocked in Europe will be sent to Eswatini. Moscow asked the UN Secretary General to help resolve this issue.
