Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant adjusted the domestic production of calcium nitrate

The Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant (KCKK, part of Uralchem) began using domestic packaging for the production of calcium nitrate.

Due to the unavailability of the previously used film for small bags of 25 kg, a new supplier was selected. Its products have passed all tests, they meet the requirements of the enterprise. Thanks to this, reconfiguration of packaging equipment and retraining of employees were not required. A film sleeve for palletizing cargo was replaced. It’s necessary to securely fix the bags on the pallet. The company retained the ability to quickly pack and send calcium nitrate to consumers.

“Calcium nitrate is a domestically made product, from the contents to the shell. We constantly monitor the quality of our fertilizer packaging. In connection with the transition to stretch film from new suppliers, control is especially serious. We receive feedback from consumers, analyze it and take into account their recommendations,” said Nadezhda Turusheva, Head of the KCKK Finished Products Shipping Department.
