Spanish agricultural company Peregrín and Kimitec Agro have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at maximizing the sustainability of garlic cultivation by 2030.
“The growing world population requires new methods of growing crops. In this regard, we are looking for environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional pesticides without compromising the food quality,” said Peregrín CEO Felipe Gómez García.
As follows from the terms of the agreement, the Kimitec Agro’s research and development center will develop solutions adapted to the agronomic needs of Peregrín to combat plant diseases and improve pre-sowing seed treatment.
